USF Spring Game History
(March 28, 2011)

College football programs typically conclude their Spring practices with a glorified scrimmage. The University of South Florida is no exception and the program's Spring Game has been held every year since 1998. The first games were held at the on-campus soccer stadium, before moving to Raymond James Stadium in 2002.

The game has free admission and the 2011 version is scheduled for April 2nd. Here is a look back at the previous games.

2010 - Bulls 49, South Florida 31 (Attendance - 6,357)

The first USF spring football game under head coach Skip Holtz had new format with the “Bulls” facing “South Florida.” It ended up being as high scoring of spring game as you will ever see.

photo Quarterback Ryan Eppes (8 of 14 for 93 yards) hit Evan Landi on a 57-yard pass on the game's first play and Team Bulls took a 3-0 lead on a 26 yard Eric Schwartz field goal.
